Are you an experienced Generator Technician, Electrician, or Mechanical Fitter working with diesel or gas generators and ready to step into a more strategic, commercially rewarding role?
This is not a cold-calling sales job.
This is a technical solutions role designed specifically for someone with strong hands-on generator experience who is looking for genuine career progression without having to leave the industry.
At Pramac Generac Australia, we deliver critical power solutions across service stations, high-rise buildings, data centres, and infrastructure sites throughout NSW.
As part of the global Generac Group, we are experiencing rapid growth, particularly in the data centre and critical infrastructure sectors.
We are looking for a technically strong professional to help manage and grow our service portfolio.
The Role
This position bridges technical expertise and client relationship management.
With your generator knowledge, the role will allow you to:
Conduct site visits across NSW to assess generator assets
Identify maintenance, repair, and upgrade requirements
Recommend preventative maintenance schedules
Develop and manage long-term service contracts
Translate technical reports into clear client proposals
Support facility managers with strategic service planning
Identify new service opportunities within your territory
You are not selling something you don’t understand.
You are providing technical advice backed by real industry experience.
Key Requirements
Trade background as a Generator Technician, Electrician, or Mechanical Fitter
Strong experience with diesel and/or gas generators
Knowledge of breakdown diagnostics and preventative maintenance
Experience working on commercial or infrastructure sites
Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
NSW industry awareness
Valid driver’s licence
Previous experience in sales is not required, your technical credibility is what matters.
