The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer and Practice Manager, you will be working closely with a GP led dynamic multi-disciplinary, multi-speciality team dedicated to delivering high-calibre, patient-centric, individualised care.

What you’ll be responsible for
Cannulation, Infusion, Venepuncture and Vaccination: Perform these procedures accurately and safely.
Patient Care: Work as part of a team to provide compassionate and patient-centered care. Perform observations and take a patient history and provide advice/treatment as required. Ensure accurate and timely notes in the patient record – Best Practice software used.
Vaccine fridge – be responsible for the vaccine fridge, be up to date with ‘’Strive for 5’’
Quality improvement – take an active role in practice quality improvement including collaboration with local health district.
Maintain databases, ordering supplies
Ensure RACGP practice accreditation standards are upheld
What you will need to be successful
Registered Nurse with a current Nursing and Midwifery Board registration (AHPRA).
Previous experience in a General Practice setting and with Best Practice software preferred but not required.
Proven experience with cannulation, venepuncture and vaccination procedures.
Knowledge of infection control procedures and cold-chain management.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Professional and polished demeanour.
